Battery Power Pack
With a capacity of 32 kW/h. The lithium iron phosphate battery has a self-sufficient running time of Ø ~4.5h and requires approx. 2h for a full charge.

E-axle
The battery recharges generatively and recuperatively while driving, thus preventing stationary charging times and downtimes during operation.

S.CU start and stop control
The remote start of the refrigeration unit is the new, clever alternative to manually starting and stopping the S.CU directly on site at the unit.
Using this remote control in the TrailerConnect portal, the unit can be precooled on the premises or during the journey to the customer. In this way, the trailer is already optimally temperature-controlled and ready for departure when the driver arrives at the departure point. This saves employees, such as the driver or groundsman, valuable time and they can concentrate on other tasks. Another advantage is that the dispatcher, who controls the start and stop remotely, can easily ensure that the refrigerated box is properly pre-cooled for the intended goods.


Solar Panel
Avoid deep discharge of the refrigeration unit battery and save money in the process: thanks to the Battery Protect package from Schmitz Cargobull, consisting of a solar panel and the battery monitor, your refrigeration unit is ready to start for up to 30 days longer and also breaks down less frequently when you are on the road. This means you benefit from increased availability and a reduced full service rate.
