Expansion of the fleet with the addition of 200 S.KO COOL refrigerated semi-trailers

One of the Primafrio Group's key commitments is to maintain the highest standards of environmental protection wherever the company operates. To this end, the Primafrio Group has expanded its fleet in 2024 with the addition of 200 S.KO COOL refrigerated semi-trailers from Schmitz Cargobull. The latest generation of refrigerated trailers are equipped with the efficient S.CU d80 transport refrigeration unit and TrailerConnect® telematics from Schmitz Cargobull.

The 200 S.KO COOL refrigerated semi-trailers have a galvanised chassis on which Schmitz Cargobull offers a 10-year warranty against rusting through. In order to achieve optimum cooling performance, the trailers are equipped with the powerful S.CU d80 transport refrigeration unit. This is characterised by low noise emissions and an emission-optimised engine. A solar panel on the roof of the transport refrigeration unit ensures a constant energy supply and protects the battery from deep discharge. The vehicles are also equipped with a digital temperature recorder, the new Schmitz Cargobull air distribution system and a full-service contract for trailer and cooling units, which includes maintenance, wear and tear repairs and breakdown assistance.
Primafrio can also rely on TrailerConnect® telematics for efficient, sustainable fleet and temperature management. This enables real-time monitoring of important parameters, such as temperature, tyre pressure, vehicle location, etc. This gives the operator a better overview and better control over their vehicles and the load.
