To support you with our vehicle and spare parts deliveries, we have taken comprehensive internal protection measures to minimise any disruption to our operations. A specially appointed working group is planning for possible scenarios and coordinating the necessary measures.

General regulations at Schmitz Cargobull

In essence, there are no restrictions on the supply of materials or the delivery of new and used trailers, with some country exceptions. Production and the supply of spare parts continues as normal. Supply Chain Management is monitoring the inbound and outbound supply chains and there is daily coordination between all parties on any changes that may be required maintain the supply of materials. The acceptance of incoming materials, the delivery of new and used trailers and the supply with spare parts are still fully ensured. Trailer delivery will continue at all locations in line with local regulatory requirements. Should there be any change resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic, let us get in touch immediately so we can take the best course of action together. If you have any questions, please contact your usual salesperson. Measures for the protection and care of drivers

Vehicle delivery is currently possible at all locations in line with local regulatory requirements. At each location, we are providing sanitary facilities for drivers, which are open around the clock as far as possible. Driver well-being is also taken into account when picking up the vehicle. Hot and cold drinks as well as various snacks are available free of charge. These are partly handed out from machines or as hygienically pre-packaged snacks.

Schmitz Cargobull service network remains ready for use

The supply of spare parts via the logistics network has so far been running without significant restrictions. The supply by our suppliers is stable with very few exceptions and is under daily observation. Our service partners are available even in the most affected countries such as Spain and Italy. There are some restrictions due to reduced opening times. The 24-hour breakdown service from Cargobull Euroservice provides roadside assistance as usual. The Cargobull Euroservice hotline can be reached around the clock free of charge at 00 800 24 227 462 855. Information can be obtained and spare parts can be ordered via the Schmitz Cargobull service portal www.cargobull-serviceportal.com.
