The Full Service trailer contract includes repair and maintenance of new and used trailers.

Basic Service Trailer

The Basic Service Trailer Contract covers the costs for the replacement and wear of all brake and axle components with the following service components:

Early notification of when the service checks are due
Exchange and wear of all brake and axle components including EBS
Optional: All statutory tests
Europe-wide breakdown service

Modular service module: An upgrade to the full service trailer or full service tire contract is possible at any time, covering all wear and tear and breakdown costs. You have the option to extend your service contract at any time.

Full Service Trailer

The Full Service contract includes repair and maintenance of new and used trailers - even those from other manufacturers. The range of services includes:

Assumption of costs for replacing worn parts including material and labour costs
Regular service checks with one of our 1,400 Service Partners throughout Europe
Optional: All statutory inspections
Europe-wide breakdown assistance with payment guarantee via Cargobull Euroservice

Service contracts for trailers

National Service

With the "National Service" option, you can have repairs and maintenance carried out within a country, based on your country of registration.

International service is included as standard in all service contracts. This means that you can have repairs and maintenance carried out internationally, regardless of your country of registration.

Cooling Unit

By concluding a service contract for the cooling appliance, you can ensure that your cooling appliance is serviced regularly and repaired quickly and reliably in the event of a breakdown.

For the Schmitz Cargobull cooling unit, the Cooling Unit Service is included in the EXECUTIVE package for the first 24 months ex works. After that, the full service can be extended as part of the Cooling Unit Maintenance & Repair service. A service contract can be booked ex works for cooling units from other manufacturers; the EXECUTIVE package does not apply in this case.

EXECUTIVE Package for S.CU

Our EXECUTIVE Package offers comprehensive services for your Schmitz Cargobull transport refrigeration unit for 24 months directly ex works. And is included as standard with the purchase of your S.KO.

It includes:

Annual inspection, maintenance and leak test
Repair of all wear parts
Smart Service Package, incl. TrailerConnect® tariff and digital services
2,000 hours of cooling unit hours. Optional increase in cooling unit hours
Calibration & evaporator cleaning
Smart Service, incl. TrailerConnect® Telematics Tariff Control and Proactive Monitoring Cooling Unit & Trailer

Full Service: Maintenance and repair modules

The full service for the cooling unit consists of the Cooling Unit Maintenance and Cooling Unit Repair modules. It includes maintenance and inspections of the cooling unit, as well as the repair of all wearing parts. The range of services includes:

Cost coverage for the replacement of wearing parts including material and labor costs
From 1,000 cooling unit hours, optional increase in cooling unit hours
Annual inspection, maintenance according to the manufacturer's specifications and leak test
Optional: Proactive monitoring of the Schmitz Cargobull cooling unit
Optional: Transparent real-time status monitoring of the S.CU with automatic error analysis & escalation to improve the uptime of the cooling unit
